RAW channels are the unchanged source from satellite or cable in the best quality. FHD channels are converted to a lower bitrate, HD channels run in 720p.
| Channel | What's behind it | Bitrate |
|---|---|---|
| RAW (SAT, Cable) | untouched, as satellite (SAT) or cable (Cable) delivers it; several audio tracks if the source has them | up to 25,000 kbit/s |
| FHD (HEVC) | converted from the source (transcoded), about half the quality of RAW | 3,000–6,000 kbit/s |
| HD | 720p | up to 5,000 kbit/s |
Good to know
- RAW needs a stable, fast line. If it stutters, use the FHD or HD channel.
- SAT and Cable are two German sources of the same channel – you can try both.
